Sclerotherapy is a treatment for varicose veins, which are generally benign enlarged veins that often appear in the legs and feet.
How does it work?
Sclerotherapy is an injectable treatment that causes veins to scar. In doing so, blood is forced to reroute through healthier veins, allowing the varicose veins to reabsorb into local tissue and fade.
